What was the average score in each of your respective locations, if they produced such result
The live mock performance can be viewed online, and its system wide – not by location… Its one single test.
I will tell you tomorrow after I take it.
Just did the live kaplan mock… Am was tougher than PM.
AM: 71.66% (worst i’ve done in the last 3 weeks). Average score posted by Kaplan: 49.4%
PM: 86.6%. Average score posted by Kaplan: 53.56%
Based on the average scores, the live mock was a tad tougher than their normal mocks which averages 55-60%
I might have a nervous breakdown at this point if I scored in the 50s on ANY mock. Nice though!
AM: 51%
PM: 70%
I had done 2 mocks previously (the BPP one from 300hours web and one official CFA online practice test) and in both I had averaged over 70%. I’m not sure if this one has been so much difficult or if I have forgotten everything I have learnt. Pretty devastating…
wow the average is 50%? I scored 65% (which isnt good either) last week, I am wonderin if the in session exam is harder than the one online
Its the same test.
Just finished and my end total score is 65%… I’m pissed. The questions they asked I thought were rubbish.
Amazing how just 3 questions per session can be the difference between “We may fail this candidate, let’s take a look at their score in ethics” and “Guaranteed Pass”.
That’s what happens when there’s so few questions. 60 questions, 3 questions is 10% of the test!!!
there were some straight just over confusing questions on the exam. I’ll be curious to see your thoughts on the afternoon FRA. That’s where I lost the majority of my points. I basically did less than half on three item sets and went from 75% to 65%.
Eh ya… I’m pretty strong in FRA. AM i did 9/12 and Afternoon I did 10/12 on FRA… There were some pretty confusing questions they way they worded it, but I did finally understand it so i was able the answer it right. Unfortunately, if you misinterpret the exhibits, then you could have gotten all those questions wrong.
The derviatives were so easy tho. I did 11/12.
Well if their live Mock is anything like regular ones, there are problems where key inputs aren’t given explicitly and you need to search through 2 and a half pages of vignettes like an easter egg hunt to find it. The real exam will NOT be like that. Sure, the real exam is part reading comprehension but it is not intended to make you search for needed information as much as Schweser does.
But I get the intent I guess, try to over prepare us rather than under prepare…
