Any of you BSD hiring managers use this torturous interview method on new hires? I’ve read up a bit on the STAR method etc. and created a list of possible questions and came up with some past scenarios to discuss. Just looking for some good tips.
Yes, I use these all the time on my candidates because it gives me a sense as to whether they have done all the work they claim to do. It lets me see their thought process as the kinds of questions I ask are pretty typical for the dialogue that most portfolio managers have with experienced analysts.
Also, I encounter them all the time in my own interviews.
I will be looking for a job soon. Should I be prepared for this as a fresher?
