Best Mock Exams Available for CFA Level 1 June 2016

Hey,

Which mock exams completely replicate the CFA exam difficulty? I have the Schweser Practise exams but they come with a disclaimer that they’re not the best reflection of the CFA exams.

Is there a provided that sells mock exams by themselves? I did not buy any third party material but would like to do some mock exams.

NO provider can provide exams that completely and perfectly replicate the CFA exams. To do so, they’d need inside information as to what’s on the exam. And since prep providers have CFA charterholders on their staff, doing so would be an ethics violation for them. Any honest, sensible provider would note that in a disclaimer.

So if someone tells you they KNOW what’s on the exam (or can completely replicate the exam), they’re either lying, in violation of the CFA Standards of Practice, or deluded.

See if you can tell which standard they’re violating without checking.

And FYI - pretty much all the major text prep providers (Kaplan, Wiley, Analyst Notes)have mocks you can purchase. In addition, the BSAS (Boston Security Analyst Society) also puts a pretty good one together

I can’t comment on the difficulty/represtativeness of their exams, though. The key is to take a number of them.
