Anyone done this role (Bloomberg Global Data Analyst-Equities Team) or knows someone who has worked in this role? Any ideas where this role can take someone? I am tempted to think it can open the doors to an equity analyst position and then portfolio manager someday, maybe?
How do people that work for firms that manage money etc perceive someone comming from Bloomberg (where you are “simply” a provider or data)?
One advantage is learning the ins and outs of the Bloomberg terminal, I often here that most people only know how to use a fraction of the available features. Is this an important skill to have ?
