Bonds - Semi Annual or Annual?

If nothing is mentioned, then do we consider semi annual as default?

I think annual (for CFAI at least), but i can’t imagine it would not be mentioned.

Came across 2 questions in the Schweser Qbank where nothing is mentioned but the calculations are done using semi annual!

Bonds always pay _ semiannually _ unless you’re told otherwise explicitly.
