From what I understand work experience apporval is very quick for CAIA, in otherwords, get your Level 2 pass, sign into CAIA, fill out the mebership form, pay and you’re approved the same day. Can anyone confirm this and also how long does it take after this before you receive the chater document?
Don’t you need recommendations (two?) to receive the charter? Obtaining and submitting them can take some time.
I can confirm this. You need to put down two references (not recommendations) in your application, but it doesn’t seem they call them and you’re approved the same day via email. I got my charter document in June after getting my pass email in April…I applied for membership the same day results went out.
I found out I passed Level II and got approved and could use the designation the same day. That was first half 2012.
