I am taking the exam tomorrow. Anybody take it recently(within the last few days), and how was it? Please do not post specific questions because that would be unethical(big brother CFA institute is watching), but can you give me a general guideline of the difficulty of the questions, and areas of focus. Thanks.
Good luck!!!
Hi, I am sitting on 20 March (tomorrow). Any advice from passers / takers? Thanks
Well just took it. Wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. We will see when the results come out. Schweser appeared to have me well prepared. Good Luck.
Thanks and agreed, Rydex. Took it this morning and better than I expected. Should (hopefully) nail it down. Do come back and share me your good news 2 weeks later!
Guys did you just refer to Schweser or original text for your prep. I am planning to take it in September.
Schweser. Had original text, but did not use them. The only stuff I did not like on the exam, only because I did not take the time to learn it is the Cluster Analysis, Euclidean distance stuff.
Guys, is the original text included in the registration fees or we need to by it separate?? Thanks
Fees do not include the books but you can buy it on ebay. It is like 1400$ for exam and 350$ for Schweser. Approx. 2000 $ for Level I
About how long did it take to read through the material? How much time should one allocate.
Schweser only. Stuff covered should be more than enough pass L1. I have been quite disciplinary in the past 3 months (I just started in late Dec) that I stuided every weekend. Surely I spent more than 120 hours as suggested by the Association. Took leave to have full blown revisit of what I studied these few days.
Anymore feedback on CAIA level 1 before results are out?
A post-exam curriculum survey

When do results come out?
