Has anyone with the CFA charter decided to try this route? The CAIA assocation introduced this in 2018 https://caia.org/stackable-pilot. This program offers current CFA charterholders to waive the CAIA Level 1 exam and sit directly for the CAIA Level 2. If so how was it? I am concerned that even though I have my CFA charter, I may need the foundational material in Level 1 CAIA.
I did this last year. Used my CFA study approach; way over-studied. However, it can be little challenging if your normal work doesn’t invovle alternative investments.
