Can someone tell me why in the solution, both the contributions and distributions are increased by 0.5?

FinancialWar - They obviously made the a net line instead of a contribution and a distribution line.
You cannot guess the 0.5 from the values stated - answer does not make any sense given the information.
I’m not going to purchase Uppermark seeing this shit 
I agree. No idea why the .5 addition. I cant find anything to support that in the readings.
