Can they fail me for this?

I just paid $60 on eBay for a legit, genuine, Bona-fide, Lehman brothers baseball cap.

if I wore it on exam day can they fail me for that? I just want to troll the proctors a little… just a little. And my nike hat I wore last year failed me on level 2 so it’s obviously bad luck

The CFA proctors are temporary workers hired by the testing center. They most likely have no idea what Lehman Brothers is, never mind that you would be trying to “troll” them by wearing the hat. If you genuinely paid $60 for that hat, just take comfort in knowing that the previous owner’s presumed financial loss from the bankruptcy might have been partly offset by your impulse purchase.

they can also be volunteers from the local society. At least that’s how we do it in ass backwards colorado.

But really you were one of those people who was in a full suit and tie, and checks his backpack and cell phone in at the front too. Bet you even took an ass cushion.

I seem to recall that the proctors are meant specifically to have minimal if any involvement in the CFA program, so there isn’t any conflict of interest.

That said… op… if you do go through with it… let us know what happens… and if we don’t hear back from you… rip…

I passed level 1 and 2 wearing my lucky shorts:

Failed level 3 once, but did well on the afternoon section, so I think the luck aspect plays through in the multiple choice section. Gonna wear them again this coming june.
