Please let me know what are the prospects of doing CFA with Retail banking experience (Branch banking for 5 years). Will my retail banking experience not mean much after clearing CFA. Will I need to start from entry level position or do I start somewhere in the middle? Please guide me
it could help you if you were lets say a financial advisor. but if you were a teller it wont do anything
Igor555 okay. Thanks a lot for your reply. I give you a little background. I am into loan department and largely give Personal segment loans to retail customers. My job involves sourcing, processing and appraising these loan applications. does this make any relevance to CFA?
My Second question is- do corporate banking and high value corporate loans dept will be of any relevance to CFA. Actually in bank I am getting opportunity to move into above said dept. Please share your valuable thoughts.
