I became a charterholder in 2012. It’s been a while and I’m redoing my resume. I’m changing how I reference it. I can’t seem to find a definitive answer online about listing dates.
Under the certifications section I have “CFA charterholder, 09/2012”.
Is listing 09/2012 ok, or should I leave the date off? Does it break any rules?
Adding the year is subtle suggestion that you’ve had the charter for quite a while and might allude to superior analytical capabilities, kind of like saying you passed all three exams on your first try).
