Hi…I am a CFA Charterholder and considering doing the new CFA UK Climate & Investing cert. I think this is probably better than doing the ESG Investing cert which I feel is more general. It is also covered in the CFA to a large extent.
Does anyone have a view on these? I work in climate/ESG and have good knowledge of the financial sde from the CFA designation. What I don’t have is techinical/scientific knowledge of climate and ESG as it is not really taught (for good reason) in the CFA curriculum.
I am more inclided towards the climate and investing cert. Had I no background in ESG, the ESG Investing might have added value for me. Does anyone else agree or have any view? Thanks.
