CFA exam prep and stress management (for AA folks in 12 steps program)

Good luck everyone for June exam!

I am a recovering alcoholic who is registered for L3 and wishes to maintain his sobriety.

Though I passed L2 last year it cost me a lot. I relapsed right after the exam because of stress and then once again at the end of July because I was excessively happy. Are there candidates and/or charterholders who was in similar situation and can share their experience. You can PM me. Recently watched Will Smith movie ‘in pursuit of happiness’ and experienced such a strong identification because of personal circumstances. Highly recommend everyone watching it for motivation.

Thanks in advance!

well thanks for so many pm feedbacks!

overall I faired well and look fwd for 18aug2016 results but feeling is rather optimistic. pls remember that for those addicted this is double stress if not more (as i cant’t probably speculate about it itelligently).

my estimate mps is ballpark of 2/3

Put your sobriety first no matter what.

Get spiritually fit.

Study all the time.

Attend meetings for breaks/relief.

Get involved in service.

Make time to have dinner with friends in recovery.

And pray like your life depends on it — for others.

I don’t know how to private message someone on here, but if you are still struggling, let me know and I’ll share some of my experience with you.
