Would you put CFA on your business card if you worked in real estate private equity (investments/front office)? It doesn’t seem very relevant however it would have been a lot of effort for little reward. Would it be fine you think or possible a bit alphabet-soup-like?

Agreed, I think most people think of alphabet soup as multiple designations, just one looks fine. Also it’s not as if it’s totally irrelevant.
Most people in PE know what the CFA is and will respect that you have it. As long as it’s only one of two credentials then you should be fine.
Why not, there’s huge section on real estate stuff in the CFA.
