CFA Institute pdf Mock Exams gone?

Up untill recently I thought I had seen the Mock PDF’s on the website but am struggling to find them anywhere now.

I thought they were in Candidate Resources–> Practice Tests and Mock Exams …all I see now is assesments and mock exams but not in pdf format.

…or am I just forgetfull and that was for level 1 only?

Any idea where I could find old mock exams from the CFA Institute for level 2 ?

Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Why yes of course, I manage her trillions…any idea where I can get the pdf mocks so I can do a better job?

when you click on candidate resources -> practice tests and mock exams - this leads you to the cfai qbank section…but if you look towards the bottom right of the screen you will see a small link that will take you to example level II essay questions, and also level III prior exams for the past three years. The link states: "Level lII candidates may reference actual Level III essay questions from past exams (and guidelines answers) available here"…but after you click on the link you will see samples for level I, II & III. Hope that helps.

…but don’t think they post like this anymore…fortunately I saved the L2 2013 mocks when I saw them on the website last year and have found for 2010 & 2011 so I have those at least.

Yeah I saved the L2 2013 mock when I saw it online last year. I just tried looking for it on the CFAI website and I don’t see it posted anymore.

I always print the L3 mocks so that way I have a few to practice when I become a L3 candidate :slight_smile:

You can’t access mocks til something like late March or early April. I could off on the release date, but that’s why you don’t see them available to you - it’s because they’re not available.

Is this legal? Gosh! I thought you have the right to download only the mocks corresponding your candidacy level…

You could be right, I’m honestly not sure. Maybe I shouldn’t have printed them. But I do see the past 3 prior level 3 exams when I log into my CFAI account under the Examples of CFA Exam Questions, as well as a Level II item set and prior Level I exam.

I saw them too (I sat for L I last June so I obviously downloaded those exams) but I did not dare touch the L II and L III though it turned in my mind that these would be useful once in the future.

OK hopefully someone knowledgeable answers and clarifies.

Honestly since reading all these “similarity analysis” threads my biggest fear is not to be unprepared or stupid on the exam any more, but to commit some violation I didn’t previously know it’s a violation.

Yeah I hope someone more knowledgeable answers and clarifies as well. I really hope I didn’t commit any sort of violation. Definitely don’t want to do that!

Do you know if you can get a copy of the 2014 Level II Mock exams in pdf?

Or is just online
