Is anyone freaking out about the changes to the CFA 3 Curriculum? ML from LevelUp says a bunch of it changed this year.
We’d have to study the whole thing regardless of curriculum structure, not sure that’s it’s really worth freaking out about. Bit of an inconvenience if you’re repeating the exam as there will be a reasonable amount of new material to cover, but otherwise not really a big deal.
Agreed. I am a re-taker and I can confirm that these changes are actually not too bad at all. Most of the stuff is easier with less calculations. The only chapter that is more difficult is Alternative Investments but it is nothing that bad. The material on average seems easier than last year’s but this year there will be no essays questions from previous L3 exam.
Anyone have a good breakdown of what’s new and what left the curriculum?
Google “2020 CFA L3 changes”, you will find a PDF surely
The changes will all be incorporated in my videos, slidebooks and bootcamps. So if you are planning on doing them, they are updated.
I don’t think it’s any easier just seems to be written much better. CME used to be a painful read.
