CFA LVL 1 Ethics

Hi all!
I am first time lvl 1 candidate, can anyone give me an advice about Ethics?

I’ve got 5 readings from CFAI:
ethics and trust… code… guidance… intro to GIPS… GIPS

What should I read and what should I skip in order to save time? Thx!

skip GIPS, you probably won’t need it anyways. what is the worst thing that could happen?

In May 2014, an administrative law judge (“ALJ”) issued an Initial Decision1 against ZPRIM which focused predominately on misrepresentations regarding compliance with the GIPS standards in magazine advertisements and investment newsletters. These misrepresentations were determined to be violations of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (“Advisers Act”) and, as a result, the firm was censured, issued a cease-and-desist order, and fined $250,000 in civil penalties. Additionally, Mr. Zavanelli was determined to be personally liable for these violations as an aider and abettor and, as a result, was individually fined $660,000 and permanently barred from the industry.

Agree, Don’t you cut corners on Ethics, it is present in all three exams and apart from earning easy points on test day, it is also very important to use it in day to day operations in modern investment world.
