I’m so frustrated with CFAI and this seemingly Mickey Mouse operation they have running:
In the year 2017, we are unable to take an online mock exam that allows us to skip past a question and come back to it?? Really??
After completion of said exam, you are unable to go back and check your results the next day to review exam?? Like unless you kept the original window open post-exam, you cannot go back and analyze your results?? Is this real life?
Now I’m forced to just go through the Mock answers trying to remember my selections from yesterday - this has to be a joke. Clearly, I’m missing something fundamental…
on the right hand side you can download the mocks in PDF, Not sure if same thing or not but given there are two of them and two mocks on line under TTs I’d Imagine they are.
Maybe I didn’t explain properly; I wrote the PM mock exam last night, online. It was late afterwards, and I closed the window showing my score/results, fully expecting I would be able to go back into it today and see my wrong answers. I cannot do that. Sure, I can go look at the PDF answers, but unless I remember which MC selections I made (fortunately most I do) I can’t analyze my results.
I hear ya Shoot. There is definitely room for improvement in their online practice system. I learned the experience you’re having last year (or the year before I don’t recall).
I do the CFA mocks on paper using the PDFs and a bubble sheet. Then I go in and enter the answers online, but that’s only because I have a little OCD and I’m a completionist. I mark my wrong answers on my bubble sheet and review them off the paper solutions. Also, when marking answers online, keep in mind that the answer order can change, so a simple A,B,C won’t work. You have to read the solutions and chose the appropriate one.
Their test prep stuff is a bit wonky. I always print everything. Think of it this way – what if your internet or electricity just goes out? It happens. For that reason alone, I print these things and review using both hardcopy and online.
ya all that stuff changed last year I think. You use to be able to access like all mocks from 2001 if you type in the web directory. now you don’t have access anymore when they revamped the domain.
