It was by no means my joy in life, but as I stroll into work each weekday morning, sip on some coffee, and wake up it is quite nice.

I like most people am not too active on here on nights or weekends unless its to see if there are any interesting football chats or actual CFA discussion I have questions on

Hi CVM,

Just checked your model.Its a masterpiece for new kids like us.Can you please tell me if we really use Residual income model and Fama french model in ER practically…or they are just bookish concepts…If you were to incorporate RI and FFM into your model what changes you would have made to your current model??

Moreover,i came to know that you were also planning to incorporate scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis into your model.Can you please give me some advice on how to incorporate scenario analysis/sensitivity analysis into a ER model…IF possible please mail me a model where scenario/sensitivy analysis are already done.

You shouldn’t post that sort of stuff, RR. PM’s should remain private. Plus, you opened yourself and CvM up to tons of spam emails by posting the full addresses. Also, I’m assuming you don’t have CvM’s permission to post his email address? That’s personal info bro. And, there really wasn’t any point to it.

I am really sad that my mentor got banned.No AF member was more helpful than cvm.I have not shared any personal information.It is obvious that me and cvm created a separate email accounts to exchange stuffs with fellow AF members.

CVM has posted his own email on these boards anyway, I saw him post it a few weeks ago to have someone shoot him an email. It was clearly a dummy email anyway not an actual personal one

@bchad - No need to be so defensive. Like I said, this is really more of Chad’s failure than anything you and the other mods did (or have not done). Think about it. How has this site improved in, say, the last three years? Name one functionality that’s been added since AF 2.0 (Calendar and AF Deals don’t count as functional). Why is Chad an absentee landlord? It’d be nice if he popped in from time to time to say hello. The only conclusion I can draw is he doesn’t really care about the community.

Think of any number of small changes that could really improve this forum. How hard is it to add an “ignore user” feature? Do we really still need to debate implementing a voting system? Or, how about Chad just talking to us about why he hasn’t made any changes amid myriad requests to clean up the WC? That’s not on you. That’s admin’s job.

I respect the fact you try to strike a balance between the official rules and what’s appropriate in a more relaxed environment like the WC. It’s not about you moderating more or less. It’s about making this site more functional so you don’t have to worry about that crap. Mods should just concern themselves with things like keeping assholes from doxing AFers and keeping topics in the right forums.

Other than that, the community should be able to direct the ship rather well on its own. We’re just stuck in 2004 Internet technology and I think it’s time Chad paid some attention to his site. Any drama that’s happened over the last several months could have easily been avoided with some very minor modifications.

Frankly, I’m surprised you and the other mods aren’t more pissed off that you’ve been left to run the site.

What’s your point? Chad is the only one that can make changes. The only similarity between god and Chad appears to be neither answer prayers.

I was going to use accuracy but precise seemed to put a finer point on it.
