Changing my approach (pls critique)

Hey all, Im a first time LII after passing LI in June (luckily my first try). In L1 I used Schweser and made cue cards on every LOS. NOw that Im getting going on LII I think Im going to avoid writing notes on absolutely every LOS and rather am going to just highlight as I read and make notes on things I view as either important or if I need to spend extra time on. I didn’t even use the cue cards anyways in LI, so I think this way I’ll be able to allocate more time to questions, practice exams (which I didnt come close to completing in LI) and q-bank, and Secret Sauce concepts. Anybody else use this approach??? Or is everybody making notes on every LOS? Just curious… Thx.

I am going to actually have a similar approach. Just read the notes, and write down short summaries of issues I think relevant. Great for reviewing too.

Also, i’ve yet to open CFAI stuff and am going to stick to Schweser… Anyone else on my original post?

Also making notes on key points, areas that need a further review on the CFAI/Schweser books but also planning on going over CFAI for Equity, FSA, PM and Econ (if time permits) before I hit Schweser. I used Flashcards extensively in Level 1 (works for some, doesnt work for others) but have pre-prepared Flashcards this year so might use them. Havent thought about this part yet.

I dont make notes for LOSs. I highlight a little bit and I make “note” of topics that I find more important or difficult to remind myself to spend more time on. The likelihood of me reading my notes and those notes actually having the info needed is low,I’d rather use the books that have the actual info.
