Outside of have a futures trading account, what is the best way to profit from the appreciation of the Chinese Renminbi relative to the US dollar?

But seriously, if you want to make this bet, there is probably a currency ETF that will do the trick, a quick web search shows that Wisdom Tree has one. Maybe there are others. A more complex method would be to use currency options, if you can do that. If you don’t have a futures trading account, you may not have options trading available to you either (or maybe you do), but you could create a synthetic RMB position by buying RMB calls and selling RMB puts (and technically adding cash, but if you just want to capture changes, the cash isn’t necessary - just make sure to have some on hand if the position moves against you)

how can you profit from the futures trading? the appreciation is already built in the future contract.
