Complted syllabus- dunno how to proceed- confused

Guys

i am totally confused . I have finished syllabus once. I am currently doing scswer q bank and scored 72% till date in around 1100 questions. With 50 days to go i am confused how to study .

Should i keep doing scswer q bank till end of this month and revising topics i getting wrong. Then last month do mocks?

Is 72% ok score ? PLease help i really need to pass L2 in first time or it will be very tough t motivate again till next year Dont wanna screw the exam :frowning:

Please all suggest indecision

I suggest you leave the question banks and hit the EOCs and blue boxes. In my view, these are the most important concept checkers.

Also in my opinion, it is more important to spend some time to be absolutely sure of why you aren’t getting 100% in a particular section. You would want to understand if the reason is due to oversights, randomn errors, or just points you do not understand very well. Narrowing it down this way will let you channel your energy in the next few days to come.

Also, in my opinion, it is important to pace yourself. Slow down, take your time, find out why you keep missing that 28%, if possible, write this down, then fix it.

I think you are in a very good shape.

I have done EOQ once …

Just need to keep chugging along and hope to be lucky on d day

This exam is imp for me it really is

Have to prove many people wrong

I’m intrigued, who do you have to prove wrong and why?

Some people creating problems in office , have to get ahead of them

Do the blue boxes. That should take you ten years. They are long…but contain valuable hidden info that could trick you on exam day. I find those tricks and write them on postcards.mits a slow process but valuable. Also I did 1,000 aback and am scoring 81%

I went over everything once and took notes. I did about half of the problems in the book (CFAI), but my main intent was the get a general sense of the material.

Next, I went through my notes and culled everything down to the essentials and subjects with which I had trouble. I was able to trim almost two legal pads worth of notes down to 18 pages. My first pass-through took a couple months/about 100 hours, and the distillation process took 3 days/about 10 hours. I went over these summary notes a few times over the course of 2 days. The effect was that I thought about ALL the material at once for the first time, which I think is tremendusly important to do as early as possible in the studying process. Get your brain comfortable with jumping between subjects.

Now, I’m in the process of skimming the curriculum subject-by-subject. I started with Equity and am now doing FRA. I go in and skim a CFAI reading, then do all the problems I didn’t do the first go-round. Next, I do the LOS quizzes on Schweser Q-Bank and really try to make sure I have everything down cold. Once I’ve done this with an entire CFAI study session, I go into Q-Bank and create 20 question quizzes (usually 2 or 3) just on said study session. By this point, I’m usually making 85%+ on the quizzes. I take care to note questions I miss and really try to understand why I’m missing them. So far, this has taken me 2-3 hours per study session.

Once I’ve done the above for every LOS/reading/study session, I’m going to do a quick review of my notes (2-3 hours max) and take my first mock. I’m aiming for two Saturdays from now (4/19). I’ll use the results from the mock as my guide for what to really hone in on during the home stretch.

Hope this helps. I did things entirely differently for Level 1 and passed, but I was not as comfortable with the material as I should have been. Thus far my new method has me feeling a ton more prepared.

You’re in a pretty good situation, so don’t be flusterred. I’d say do about 360 questions in QBank. Set it to only use medium/hard questions. Don’t do any more softball basic questions. Use your score from the 360 quesitons to determine where you are weakest. Go back and review (meaning READING again, and also some practice questions) the 5 Study Sessions where you are weakest. All of that could take you a month. By the time you’re in the last month, you should be doing lots of mocks and practice questions. I assume you already have a plan for your last month.

Clark thats a good idea- I will first knock of the medium and tough q in q bank

U guys are scoring 80 in q bank and i am scoring 72 :frowning:

As bloodline suggested, its important to identify and correct the mistakes actually. otherwise it makes no sense to take practise tests.

Remember to test yourself more on vignette format and lesser and lesser on stand alone questions. Good luck!
