Sorry, I didn’t realize that I was supposed to do your work.
As someone with a sterling reputation of stating truth, the good people of AF are well past needing back up from me. If I state it, everyone knows it’s safe to assume it’s true.
I assume that that last word is a typo, so, generous and benevolent sort that I am, I’ll fix it for you:
rude.
just saying at this point. its really not that many people dying.heart disease as an example kills 650k per year, do you see people getting paranoid over that? there was a time when you can make an argument of the exponential growth. but at this point the number of deaths have decelerated. 117k dead isnt much. either way. there is still enough people paranoid. but at this point i think they are just naturally so.
That 117k is with social distancing. What would the number be if the world went back to business as usual?
That is not a number remotely close to reality. They admitted they’re pumping everything into the death count. Birx is on tv saying it multiple times. Wake up Frankie boy. Smell the smelling salts.
well lets be generous and say half a million more would die without social distancing. at 3 trillion of gdp lost. thats equivalent to 6m a person. personally id say the shut down wasnt worth it. but i guess some people would say that some things are priceless.
There’s an argument that the more at-risk have already seen what they’ll see with Wave 1. Wave 2 might not be as damaging in aggregate (at least, in terms of mortality) if it goes up against the relatively strong remaining population.
I know two friends who’s lost a parent, an uncle on my side, and an uncle on my wife’s side. Three were either elderly or generally in bad health but one was a pretty healthy guy in his mid to late 50s.
Let’s hope so. The second wave of Spanish flu was supposedly a bigger killer than the first. But who knows really! Something like 500 people die per day in us and dropping. Which is a huge drop from the peak at like 4K per day. Anyways if I had to guess. I’d say no more than 200k will die this year!
Anyways to bristle, I’m just curious since you know so many people die from Covid. How many people do you know has died from heart disease?
Nerdy “Cold as Ice” Blop strikes again!
It’s a complete fake
i think we went over the mortality rates before. for younger people it isnt deadly. 0.2% for people under 50. which is 10x the regular flu but i think we can all agree is de minimis. the issue is for older people, and the older you are the worse it is. for people over 80 for exmaple, 30% die from covid, yet the flu should only kill like 1%. but overall rates are basically 0.1% for flu vs 3.5% for covid. sure its more deaths. but it aint the black plague which would kill you 50% of the time at all age groups…
anyawys it like when someone iwth a net worth of 100 dollars says they are now worth 5k. sure you are 500 times richer, but imo ur still not very rich. anyawys bottom line i think what is happening to young people is very unfair. there is no reason to scare them to hermit status and take away from their prime lives just to prolong the lives of people near their twilight.
people dying from it were going to die in the near future anyway by and large. this was just a nudge. we’ve never shut down an economy over a risk this minuscule. there is an alternative agenda behind it. i think you all can guess. Starts with “Deep” and ends with “State NWO”.
According to one German official.
One person’s opinion does not truth make, as you know firsthand.
Some of us are over 50, mijo!!!
Ummmm no, that’s not remotely accurate. Do you know anybody who has had Covid? I know two people that have died. Granted one was in his early 70s, but with no prior health complications… simply contracted the virus and was dead in a week. The other was a healthy guy in his mid 40s. It’s serious man, no matter what type of garbage you read.
my condolences and RIP and all that but sorry, you don’t get to extrapolate your very limited experience to the entire population. that’s not how science works.
Guy. Are you seriously trying to explain how science works with some of the nonsensical things you post?
The world doesn’t decide to completely shut down, bankrupt individuals, accumulate massive deficits, destroy small business along with their own economy over something as trivial as you’re making it out to be. I could post a trillion articles that back this up, but thankfully google has it covered.
you can post all the articles you want. the actual science says otherwise. look at the actual data, then revisit your proposition and reconcile. Welcome to the Great Awakening, tadpole.
