There’s going to be a bunch of computer professionals giving classes on a saturday. What should my level of dress be?
T-shirt and shorts like I’m at Six Flags
khakis, dress shirt, and dress shoes (no tie) like I’m at work
Suit and tie like I’m at a job interview
I want to be taken seriously but not be the overdressed douchebag that looks like he’s trying to compensate for a lack of experience by dressing well.

go business casual wiht a jacket. i doubt you’ll need a tie
Shorts should never be worn in any occassion.
Business casual, jacket & no tie
Go with my buddy’s tried and true idea- Put on a shirt, tie, and slacks. bring a jacket in the car. get there a little early and based on how the others that are walking in are dressed, either put the jacket on, go in with the shirt and tie, or take the tie off and just go in shirt and pants

This is an SQL course? I seriously doubt that they will care how you dress.
I do recommend that you wear some form of pants though.

So non-asians always go topless? or bottomless with no pants then?
