I have never seen anyone ever put ‘BA’ after their name on an academic paper in an A or B journal.

However, if I earn the CFA Designation, you had better believe I’m going to put CFA behind my name. I’m sure I’ll be pretty happy to do so at that time as well.

Jane Doe, BFF… a ton of people have this designation these days…

dunno if someone else posted this one yet: john doe, BS

You got it. PWM at UBS in Chicago. Your other clue would have been my lack of any comments on the market, stocks, CDS ratings, alternative investments, etc. I am completely handcuffed on subject matter to discuss. I wish I could post on some of the subjects just to push buttons…looks fun. Good for some laughs… I usually am on this website for general information on the CFA tests. I also enjoy hearing perspectives from different jobs within the financial industry. What about yourself 99?

Seeing MBA after someone’s name on a business card is incredibly tacky, IMO.

By looking at the absurd growth of new CFA Charterholders in recent years, you must include this as one of the most easily obtainable set of letters.

this one is pretty good: http://www.naoi.org/ Certified Individual Investor for geeb’s sake, i mean, really.

What purpose would this designation ever hold? I love how the study books are bound. No textbooks for these geniouses.

BUMP Saw a good one “Jane Doe, Finance Professional with M.B.A.”

When I was a kid, the realtor that helped us had this: “Joe Shmoe, Harvard MBA” My mom was so impressed, that she got him to cut his commission in half and to throw in a new AC and water heater for free
