Edit button missing

What happened to the edit function?

I like to use it and do use it extensively. Since there is no spellcheck here, I often edit to correct my typos and improve grammar. Also, if I post in haste and feel it too harsh, I will edit to soften the message.

Please restore the edit function.

to be honest for most normal purposes I like the edit or spellcheck or something but it has gotten quite confusing as of late with a certain group of people posting and erasing … just mindboggling to try to read in continuity maybe this is the reason?

Edited after disabling quote module. Looks like we found the bug.

Now we can edit but not quote. Working on a fix.

Editing again after applying the fix. Looks like everything is back in order now.
