Hey, has anyone heard of Elan Guides? Recently stumbled onto their website and went through some of their sample study notes and lecture videos… They were actually pretty good! The lecture video especially was a lot better than any other I’ve seen so far… you guys should go check it out,… let me know if you think they’r worth giving a shot, cz the books are a lot cheaper than Schwezer too… the website is www.elanguides.com
Looks like CFA is good business these days. New prep providers popping up every day. They are a bit new to the game. All the material is not available yet. Give them a skip, at least until next year.
i’ve never heard of them or anyone using them. personally, if your strapped for cash, the internet is your friend. use it and you can find most things you want. investopedia also runs a good set of notes for FREE!!! schweser has the better reputation. 6-12 months is a long time studying for something, might as well do it right.
Yup, all the material isn’t ready yet, and they are a bit new… I was actually pretty impressed by their sample video… thought it was much better than Schweser…
were promotions ever meant to be bad? i guess Sherry if you like it, purchase it. If they are good, your results will show it. Stick around on these forums. I’d love to hear from you over the coming months about your progress. Crunch time will really see if they’re up to the job. personally however, I’ll stick with what has worked
There are a lot of new prep providers popping up. I personally will stick with what I know (schweser). I have been satisfied with the quality of their materials and will be using them again, just hopefully for L2. I already received my Schweser notes for CAIA-L1.
