Please discuss why they are better than gas stoves
I’ve forgotten who I had lunch with earlier, and even more important, where.
dorsia or are they closed for renovations?
I’ve always been under the impression gas is higher quality. But I miss my electric cook top from my last condo in Pittsburgh. Cleanup was so easy.
Well, electric stoves won’t blow up your house, for one.
I was under the impression you cook everything over an open, wood fire.
Gas are superior unless you want safety
Aga or hacksaw

La Cornue Chateau Grand Palais 180 or hacksaw.
“The Grand Palais 180 is the crown jewel of the Château Series, commanding respect and admiration in any kitchen. Almost 6 feet in length, the range boasts one grand vaulted gas oven and one grand vaulted electric oven, set beneath one of seven rangetop configurations.”
Someone I know has something from this range, but the $40k combination, not the $56k combination. Inspecting a $40k stove is like having a colon hydrotherapy. You struggle to comprehend what you are experiencing at the moment.
^ wow, one gas oven and one electric oven, crazy
I wonder what that thing weights.

That looks a LOT like the one they show off in williams and sonoma…
Edit: Looks like I was wrong, the one they sell in williams and sonoma only goes for 10k, better get out the hacksaw…

Looks like they make an accessory rotisserie for $12k
That’s more than enough food for a BSD, his trophy wife, kids, cute au pair, and live in chef.

Wow that thing is the bomb! BOOM goes the dynamite…
One thing I don’t like about electric is that the oven takes a solid 10-15 minutes to come up to cooking temp. I’ve learned to do my prep, peeling and chopping during that time.
Does the La Cornue unit come with free Louis Vuitton oven mitts?
