are the compliance officers responsible for training the employees regarding the code of ethics, local laws etc?

^Yes. It’s under “Responsibilities of Supervisors”.
I really think you should spend some time diving into the curriculum before you start asking a bunch of anonymous people on an anonymous forum. You haven’t even got past Ethics and you’ve already asked three questions that you really should be able to figure out.
If you’re having this much trouble with Ethics, then maybe you should rethink the whole CFA thing. I’m not trying to be pessimistic, but c’mon, man.
i have no prob with cf, fra, economics. only ethics i saved for the very last even though it is most important. the reason is the financial scene in my country is ridden with corrupt, utterly fraudulent men. not my fault. so i am trying to ask decent people who follow the rules. im not lying their is too much corruption and illiteracy here. and no one knows a cfa from a cpa here. but thanks for replying…ure kind.
I believe it.
