Ethics - Designated Officer

I remember a question about the types of punishment they can give member/candidates. And it asked to rank them on how bad of a punishment they are.

One of them tricked me up. What exactly is public censorship? I think i remember thinking it was terrible, but it isn’t that bad.

It used to be known as a pillory.

They publish the names of the naughty boys and girls.

so censorship, isn’t as bad as suspension for a year?

Btw, you are a beast, thank for helping out so much these last few weeks.

It depends on one’s psychology – for some, public humiliation may be worse than a suspension that you might be able to hide from everyone – but, in general, I’d say that censorship (private or public) is less harsh than suspension.

You’re too kind. One does what one can. I’m glad I could be of some small assistance.
