Hi All, I do not seem to completely grasp this rule. One should dissociate himself from misappropriated activities and information. However, is one required to seek further advise/report the activity/attempt to make change at all times? Many thanks.
One should certainly report the activity to a superior or compliance department, encouraging rectification as necessary. If the issue is not given carriage and the candidate or member still feels that the activity violates the code and standards or applicable governing law, then they should dissociate, which in extreme circumstances may require leaving the place of employment. Does that help at all?
It does thank you. If a quesiton would state to either seek councel from or report to superior/compliance department this would esentially refer to the same activity.
