DEFINITELY!!! When i first started taking financial certification exams, Schweser recommended somewhere that candidates should be prepared with two calculators in case one fails. They were right! Yesterday i had my CAIA 2 exam. I left my house with my 2 calculators and flashcards in my drawstring bag. But before i left, i grabbed a bottle of diet pepsi so that i could down it before the exam for a rush. I threw the bottle into my bag and jumped onto the train. I started to do flashcards and then prepared to transfer to another train. As i got up, the soda started pouring out of my bag like a waterfall!!! I went to the platform and looked into my bag: 1) flashcards: ok because they were in a ziplock bag. i got lucky 2) calculator in the pleather case: the case trapped my poor calculator with the soda. R.I.P… 3) calculator without the case: wet but functioning I wound up cleaning it in the testing center restroom and i was good to go for the exam. Let that be a lesson to all candidates to be prepared. Or don’t put containers of liquid with your precious items on exam day!
hahaha :pppp I’m going to bring a banana for the break to eat, I hope to not accidentally drop it and then slip on the sucker causing a concussion to the head before the exam…LOL I should bring another head.
