Fantasy Football for dummies

Thank god I din’t pick Adrian Peterson. That was my other choice of QB.

^Adrian Peterson would make a bad QB.

AD - great at RB and weilding a switch, bad QB.

oops!!

LOL. How much money did you put in this pool?

No free lunch?

Update:

Since Robert Griffith is out, I got Geno Smith ( He was the only best option among left).

One of the guy in the team is asking for a trade. First he asked for Jimmy Graham and I said straight NO.

Now, he is interested in Sanders. He quoted

"Call me later in the year on Jimmy Graham after it’s mathematically impossible to make the playoffs because your QB is so bad.

Until then, I would be interested in Sanders. I would trade Cobb straight up. They have the same number of points this year, but Cobb is rated higher. Why would I do this? I am too tied to the Packers with Rodgers and Cobb. I need to diversify. If you are not interested, I’ll open the talks up to others. He does have a Bye in week 9.

This is your best time to trade Sanders since he’s on a Bye this week. He is guaranteed to provide you zero points this week. "

Here’s his roster:

Aaron Rodgers GB - QB Randall Cobb GB - WR Brandin Cooks NO - WR Joique Bell Det - RB Justin Forsett Bal - RB Vernon Davis SF - TE Stevie Johnson SF - WR Dan Bailey Dal - K San Francisco SF - DEF Giovani Bernard Cin - RB Riley Cooper Phi - WR Bishop Sankey Ten - RB Joe Flacco Bal - QB Eddie Royal SD - WR Matt Prater Den - K

Any thoughts??

Despite Sanders’ quick start to the season, he has never played at this level in his entire career. Cobb is off to a slow start (yardage wise), but his upside is much higher than Sanders. I’d pull the trigger, although I may try to get him to add Flacco (doesn’t cost him much at all and your QB position is slightly upgraded).

Flacco only if I agree to trade Graham :frowning:

Flacco only if I agree to trade Graham :frowning:

i wouldnt trade graham, you have decent WRs

Right. he is my gold chip. I’ll try if anyone else what to trade their QB with my WR. Thanks!

That guy’s out of his mind, and likely made that counter offer in jest. I’d still do Cobb for Sanders straight up, but that’s just me.

Never trade for the same position. Trading Sanders for Cobb is useless. The whole point of a trade is to IMPROVE your roster.

Yeah, I’m not fantasy football expert, but I don’t understand the point of swapping for the same position, unless you’re convinced that the other guy’s better.

But if that’s the case, then why is the other guy willing to let him go? What does he know that you don’t?

The only drawback that I see in Sanders and Cobb trade is that the other guy roster gets better. I already have several decent WRs so it doesn’t matter much to me.

I’m going to ask others if someone wants to trade their QB for one of my WRs.

I would tell him that Graham will not be available later in the year if you’re eliminated from playoff contention because trading away players after you’ve been eliminated is Busch League. If he wants Graham, tell him to make you a quality offer that improves your team or leave you alone. His rationale that he needs to diversify away from GB is BS. Ask him why he doesn’t need to diversify away from SF or Baltimore.

Got an offer on Jay cutler for Sanders.

Another offer on Carson Plamer for Sanders.

I’m going with Cutler!

Wow. So you can have either Cutler or Palmer.

I wouldn’t think too hard about that one.

yea palmer by a mile

this is funny sh*t…what are your stats?
