Hello guys,
First of all if there is some word/ sentence you do not understand, I really apologize because of my struggle in explaning myself in English.
I have about two years of fiance experience ( entry level) developing tasks regarding VAT presentation, forward contracts calculation and following up, letrer of credits, bonds and guarantees , etc.
I would like to develop more strategic duties in the field. I am not sure I would have this chance in my firm.
I have an offer to joining a top pharma firm to carry out with tasks related to bid and tender. The position is more " senior and strategic since I have to meet with public institutions and I am following up all tenders the firms are in, which is the mission of the firm…
The offer is good in $$
My dubs are:
1 It’s worth?
( to leave a specialist role for another that’s more general )?
-
It’s not a step to nowhere? Since I have seen that people in this field, come from so different background ( law, psychology, Labour relations, etc)…
-
I should leave my path for going to a field so " narrow "( I mean, you can find a finance area in every company… But the bid/tender department just belong to some specific companies… )
Thank you all for your point of view and your wisdom"
Cheers
