Hmmm, yahoo finance type posts on analyst forum maybe we’re experiencing the great reversal where yahoo finance starts to have intelligent posts… on second thought nah
Everybody I know drinks Pepsi therefore Coke will be bankrupt in 5 years. Trust me: I’ve been drinking Coke since the late 90s. Seriously dude: Popups are not the only revenue stream. Has it occured to you that people use google because they are looking to buy something and WANT to see ads? I’m not talking about popups - I am talking about the 3 links that appear (shaded slightly) at the top of the search results and on the right side of the page. How many people googled “tax return” and then clicked on turbotax.com today? Google gets paid for that.
serious guys do you know any business that with a few mouse clicks can nullify 97% of revenues(block ads)? because that is the situation with google, and the ironic thing is even the browser they develop blocks the same ads! OWNED!

OWNED! Have you put your money where your mouth is? Since you’re so confident in your position, I’ll sell you all the $100 GOOG puts you care to purchase at $5/share. Since the stock is going to $50 or lower, this is a no-brainer. As soon as your respond in the affirmative I’ll be along with my contact information.
I’ll sell GOOG 100 Puts for $4.99!
http://techcrunch.com/2009/12/22/reachlocal-100-million-ipo/ in the midst of the financial crisis where so few companies are going public, we’ve got a fresh $100MM IPO filing from a new high-growth business (check their revenue ramp up in the last few years). these guys are also in the doomed online sales ad business and don’t even realize it, cause they don’t have timotimo’s strategy consultant services.

You forgot to add “OWNED”, which makes your argument that much better.
