Financial Modeling/Investment Banking Courses

My university has a pool of money donated by alumni earmarked for students who want to take outside programs. As usual, it landed in my lap to do the due diligence - so I thought I’d tap the Water Cooler Hive Mind.

If a student wanted to take a course in financial modeling (geared towards investment banking and/or general valuation), what would you recommend? We’rel looking at relatively low-cost options ($300 or less).

One course that’s been mention is one by the Investment Banking Institute’s “Financial Modeling Essentials” package. Any thoughts?

Here is a review from the FMVA forum. Their pricing might fit your needs or you might be able to work out a group license for your student.
