I just finished all of the Fixed Income section and was curious about how the questions were on the actual exam for those who have taken it.
I finished all of the Schweser end of chapter questions, took several Q-Bank tests, and completed all of the CFA end of chapter questions and noticed that it was very focused on math. (ie. computing duration, valuing bonds using forward and spot rates, computing different spreads).
I was wondering if that was the case on the actual exam from any of your experiences?
I ask this because I felt the same way for Financial Reporting (a lot of math calculations) and then once I took a mock exam for FRA it had significantly less emphasis on math and much more on concepts.
