I dont think Floyd will do his normal defensive style here. He knows he is fighting a novice I think he will come out swinging and try and lay him out early.

Still no way in hell im wasting my money on this piece of garbage. I honestly cant imagine what the appeal of this fight is other than telling people you like marketing ore than substance. Its the Beats by Dre of combat sports.

I don’t follow boxing or MMA, so perhaps I’m totally off the mark here, but if McGregor could be a world class boxer, wouldn’t he make more money as a boxer instead of an MMA fighter?

possibly, but boxing is a lame sport imo compared to UFC fights MMA is so interesting to me - it requires so much training and technique I think in our generation UFC will eventually overshadow boxing, but we are not there yet.

I guess he has the old “puncher’s chance”, but I stick with my admittedly uninformed opinion that if he could box well enough to beat a world class boxer in a boxing match, he would be a boxer. I hear that he has a reach and weight advantage, but I’m sure Mayweather has fought bigger guys before and we know the outcome.

A puncher s chance hardly applies with 16 ounzes gloves and a defensive boxer like Mayweather.

He has like a 1% chance of winning this.

I know 0% about boxing. But based on consensus opinions of my friends who are really into boxing, the odds are currently way out of wack due to McGregor’s fan base. I’m seriously considering going #LongTMT even though I have never gambled before in my life (not a fan of negative NPV activities)
