follow up email during earnings? ER interview

If you had an ER interview on the thursday and sent a thank you on the friday how long would you wait to send an email or follow up when you know that during the next two weeks, earnings will be released. Would you wait until the two weeks are over or not send anything else?

I’m not sure what this additional email will accomplish. After you thank the guy once, it is really a “we will call you” situation.
