Format of the CFAI mock exams

Does anybody know what has led to the CFAI opting for this ‘online portal’ presentation of the mock exams? It really is incredibly frustrating to use, particularly when previous takers have mentioned to me that the exams used to be available as .pdf files.

I’ve never encountered a more horrendous printable format than this.

Well, it’s not stopping me from doing them… Regardless, the format is (seemingly) senselessly frustrating.
