Hi all. I just passed Part II and submitted my work experience for verification. Can current Certified FRMs check how long it took GARP to verify their work experience (i.e. check date of email confirming submission of work experience vs. date of email verifying your work experience)? I know GARP says 6-8 weeks, but I am just curious what people have experienced. Thanks for your help!

Agreed. I was wondering the same. I submitted mine the day the exams results were released and have yet to hear back.
dwheats - I agree with most, if not all, of your posts. (although I am fairly new here, I’ve spent a great deal of time on Bionic Turtle under another name)
I can’t get a clear answer out of GARP - David at BT said as quickly as a week but as long as a month based on his conversations with GARP, but I suspect it will take even longer

Date of submission: 6 28 2016 (around 3 PM ET) Date of approval: 7 12 2016 (around 4 PM ET)

Submitted June 28 10:45 EST Approved July 14 16:00 EST
Approval time starts from 15 days. This is the minimum that I noticed in BT
If you could give a brief example of the work experiences you submitted?
I’d previously worked in Compliance for 2 years and is currently working under Treasury Risk (Operational), reporting operational losses and any other operational risk events. Planning to take on FRM and wonder if my work experiences would count?
