Game of Thrones Season 6

I see what you did there.

I’d like to point out that the casting of Euron was horrible done.

Wouldn’t it be weird if Ramsay wins the Battle of the Bastards, and then goes on to flay the White Walkers?? That would be a WTF moment nearly as grand as what happened to Ned Stark.

*spoilers*

After these last two episodes I find that I am not being shocked, disappointed or disgusted as much as I am accustomed to. I think I am mildly let down by that, maybe? I always appreciated GOT for it’s integrity to story over entertainment. Lately it feels like the later is the priority.

For example…

Bran saved at last minute by a hero on horse back… Gilly gets a makeover… Danny makes a roling speech from dragon back… the Hound lives!

So, that last one I am actually really excited about. The Hound and Arya are my favorite charcters. When Arya left him to die I was the only one who kept insisting that he lives… just wait! I was also glad to see Arya break free of the House of Black and White. I REALLY like her as the lone rogue type. I will be terribly disappointed (in a bad way) if she goes…

Hey STL… do you get a Logan Ninefingers vibe from the Hound… especially now?

Had to laugh at the first 10 seconds of this video from where I’ve marked it.

Don’t watch it if you don’t want spoilers from this episode.

(The funny line is from 0:30-0:39, in case it starts from the beginning)

Noone here talked about Jon Snow’s parents?

Who believes R and L deeply loved each other and gave birth to Jon?

My friend’s opinion: L loved R becuase R was very handsome and talented and attractive etc etc etc. But R only used L for political reasons/personal gains…

Oh well what a realistic world RR Martin has described!

I gotta admit that I don’t understand the motivation of the Brotherhood Without Banners in this episode. That is, if they are in fact the ones that did the bad stuff (which it’s suggested, but we’ve been misled before). The pacifist group doesn’t seem to be the kind of people they would cause trouble for.

Anyone else confused by this?

Actually, did anyone find it weird that the waif did such a sloppy job in the attempt to off Arya? First, could have easity stabbed her in the chest or slit her trought. Second, Arya simply heald her breath and snuck out of the water??? Really? What kind of assassin works that way… Does the waif have her own alternate motives?

^ It was very surprising that the waif didn’t stick around longer to confirm Arya’s demise, but I get stabbing her in the stomach given her extreme dislike for Arya. Slitting her throat would have been too quick and painless. Being stabbed in the stomach results in a slow, painful death.

The waif IS Arya???

The faceless man (assumed) Jaqen H’ghar, told the waif to not let Arya suffer…i have a feeling repercussions are coming to the waif. This subplot is not over with quite yet.

^^I’m going with the fan theory. It makes complete sense. I’d put money on it. The waif kills Arya… she becomes the Waif. Arya kills the waif (a figment of her imagination) injuries are gone (also, imagination) and Arya keeps her identity

The problem with the theory that Arya and the waif are the same is that when Jaqen gives the okay to kill Arya, he says something like “it’s a shame, a girl has many skills”. Why would he say that if they were the same person?

^^ he is basically telling Arya to kill her own humanity. The result would be a ture “no one”. Jaqen knows what is going on, but both Arya and the waif do not. He has to address and instruct the waif as if she is an individual.

I agree. Perhaps this is what lets Arya off the hook with the faceless God.

That would be weird.

I’m guessing Arya kills the Waif, and Jaqen says, “life for a life” and that’s the end of it. FM logic.

Where did Sansa send the raven? The only logical guess I could come up with is Littlefinger.

I know and that’s what makes the fact that they wasted McShane on one f’ing episode. He could have easily pulled off Euron after how good he was as Al Swearengen. Seemed logical. Dammit.

And yeah Sansa’s raven has to be going to Littlefinger. Which kind of makes their meeting last time seem kind of lame now. Thought Sophie Turner knocked it out of the park but to just turn around and be like ah ok I need your troops after all is… weak to say the least.

The raven has to be going to Littlefinger asking for the Knights of The Vale to join Jon in battle. The only other person she could possibly send it to is Ramsay offering to exchange herself for Rickon, but I don’t see that as very likely.

The waif = Arya theory is gaining a lot of traction online, but I still don’t see it. I think it’s likely Arya kills the waif and is off the hook under the “a life for a life rule” as someone noted above.

Yes. I think the Raven goes to Littlefinger to get the Knights of the Vale. I think the scene with Littlefinger is still there because it forces him to beg for his life and promise to do something to make things better. Otherwise, she’d just be pissed at him and might not even know where he is.
