GIPS: CFAI books or course provider?

Hello, What do you recommend for GIPS? Is it like Ethic where most people recommend using CFAI books or is it better, simpler and faster to go with external course providers? Thank you

My plan is to do practice tests and EOCs, thus working backwards and making sense of it all from the answer explanations. I mean there will only be 6 questions, multiple choice, and chances are I will have seen the answer choices already during practice.

What Krok said. My brain’s not good at 50 pages of rules. Need to fit the core to a narrative or give it some meaning first, then can hang more rules off that structure.

My target - Cover at least all general GIPS rules and provisions. Try to remember some of the specific ones (eg. Carve outs, PE, RE etc.). Thus, targeting 60 % at minimum on multiple choices. Hope, there will not be too much sadistic questions there.
