Good films that may have not been seen that much

City of Gods is a great movie - must watch

Babadook - makes you think but i think the movie itself could have been shortened to get to the point faster. Nevertheless, i recommend.

Here’s a few i can remember off the top of my head:

No Man’s Land

The Lobster

Four Lions

Kids

Fresh

Still one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen.

I didn’t like the Badabook. Might have has something to do with watching it on a long haul flight whilst hungover, I didn’t appreciate the tension.

City of God is a classic.

The Killing Fields - good date movie.

In Bruges is one of my favorite films, the dialog is fantastic. City of God was ok but felt it was missing something to make it a classic in my eyes

I might have done so already earlier in this thread, but I 3rd Memento.

“Underground” is awesome and fun, great music, slapstick, action, romance, cultural depth. Really awesome. It’s available on youtube, but quality is so-so. Can probably stream it in HD other places.

Last Samurai

Suicide Kings

The Intouchables (French but very good)

Go

Ran

Equilibrium

Trainspotting

Tooth Fairy…

I’ll tell you what, I sat down to watch some mindlessly entertaining movie and picked John Wick. It was actually pretty damn good.

Saw Four Lions a while back. I came away a bit sad but the irony in this film cannot be missed. If you’re not good with mid-north english accents you might need subtitles. Great film.

I want to see Green Room. The plot is that some guys are locked in a Neo Nazi themed bar and Anton Yeltzin is a Nazi themed punk rock musician. Also it stars Patrick Stewart as the Nazi boss. You can’t make this up.

Also you should watch Snow Piercer on Netflix. It is actually pretty good for a C movie. Some parts are a bit disturbing: Spoiler - they eat babies.

Be sure to watch the original '70s version, Behind the Green Door.

At this point I will watch a Patrick Stewart movie just to see what kind of role he has picked for himself this time. Green Room added.

Burnt by the Sun

The Room is a masterpiece…and absolute riot. Check out the trailer

Ip Man is a GREAT movie. All 3 movies are really good to be honest…The first movie is definitely a must watch.

what you fools think of Old Boy?

This movie was off the charts ridiculous. Loved it! O hai Mark!
