Good Luck

Good Luck to everyone. I know the mistakes I made studying. Should have spent one day a week reviewing material covered to date and should have done more practice questions instead of watching Schweser videos. As someone that is the back office accountant for some private equity funds, I should have used the CFAI material for the non-accounting items in the cirriculum. Although even as an accountant, I still hate pensions. All in all, except for some of the derivative concepts and pensions, I do not think anything in the material is all that hard, but there is just so much of it. Must memorize better next time rather than just understanding the basic concept. Rather than spending time watching schweser videos, should have started a little earlier and red and outlined in my own words from the CFAI books. Some “active learning” would ahve been better than having my mind wonder while watching the videos. I am a CPA and don’t need to be a CFA, but it will be neat to have both credentials. Unless a miracle happens, will give this one more try next June. I hope all of you will be taking Level III next June:) Best of luck!
