Have you received your manuals for Level2?

Hello all, I just wanted to know if you have already received the manuals for studying for Level 2 either from Schweser or Uppermark? I ordered my Uppermark Level 2 a month ago and still have no news. Do you have the same problem? Any idea how long should we wait? Thks a lot, PC

I ordered my Schweser materials in mid-April. I believe they said they’d start shipping late May so hoping to get a note from them this week indicating as much.

I received notification from Schweser y’day that my stuff is about to be shipped.

Thks Guys, UpperMark also confirmed that it will be shipped at the end of this month. In the meantime do you use some alternative way (books) to study or you just wait for the official ones to start it? Thks, PC

I ordered the CAIA texts about a month ago, so I’m already well into the material.

Has anyone contacted Uppermark? I’m waiting too.

Just received my Schweser materials today. For anyone who bought the actual underlying texts from CAIA, what Schweser has done is combine the book of Advanced Core topics with the Integrated Topics and Applications book to make one book and then the second book is the Current, Integrated Topics and Applications book. And there’s a third book with two mock exams.

Date Shipped: June 14, 2010 Shipping Carrier: UPS (Next Business Day) Yippee! Christmas is coming early this year!!

Uppermark did it again, two weeks later than Schweser. But at least you were warned in this forum…I hope they have corrected the typos at least in those texts that appear now for the third time.

Got an email from Uppermark yesterday. First book was dispatched yesterday. The rest of the material will be dispatched later this week. According to earlier communication from them the materials were meant to have gone out end of May but CAIA had released errata which Uppermark felt it was best to review prior to sending out the materials. If that’s the case then I appreciate them being thorough about it.

Loved Uppermark for L1 but was so turned off last year due to the extreme delay for L2 materials that they are permanently on my shi+list.

Uppermark will be updated which I appreciate. Still plenty of study time.

“According to earlier communication from them the materials were meant to have gone out end of May but CAIA had released errata which Uppermark felt it was best to review prior to sending out the materials.” After checking caia.org, this sounds like BS to me. Official errata was released on May 21 and virtually affected only 3 pages (one calculation example on commodities) in the source material. Correcting that in the study notes takes about an hour and printing softcover booklets is not a bottleneck either.

Agreed. Uppermark lies all the time. The “current errata” is made up of errors that were found during the PREVIOUS March exam and they had plenty of time to change it since then. The real delay is from the updates to the curriculum created by the NEW edition of the Current & Integrated Topics book being used. So it has nothing to do with the “current errata” as the September candidates haven’t had enough time to report new errors. IT’S A SHAM PEOPLE!!!

WTF. Less than 90 days now.

Anyone received Uppermark yet?
