I was in a Starbucks yesterday where a young guy was reading Ethics and there was Chinese commentary alongside the English!

It’s pretty impressive to be able to pass a test like that when your first language isn’t English, don’t think I could ever do it.

technically my first language wasnt english. and between you and I, its simple as pie baby. but it was really hard.

Apparently.

Not as simple as it seems.

Evidently.

you forgot that its should be it’s. cuz it’s is a contraction for it is. vs its is a possesive pronoun. and i am very possessive, but the simple as pie is a quote from a popular song from R&B singer miguel during 2011. lastly. i failed the essay exams even though i felt like i breezed through it.

Eh. Depends on whether there’s five days or seven days in a week. Not a big deal IMHO. Except that he goes on to say something about 5 weeks in the next sentence.

I don’t guess I care one way or the other, but at least be consistent.

How about considering this: what’s the title of the <_ blessed _> book?

Psalms 6:2

Because they do CFA as a full time student. They don’t do it with job like o…

but also keep in mind that the chinese are much smarter than everyone in the world.

Never understood how people do that. Trying to learn new stuff while reading in English and taking notes/ translating what you hear into your native tongue would just twist my brain into a pretzel. Back in the day when my English was still god-awful, I always took notes in English and even tried thinking about the concepts in English.

is that why they steal american IP
