How do Asians Stay Looking Young? - beauty tips for men and women

Are you Asian itera - perhaps a Twinkie? Or did one of your parents remarry an Asian?

When my wife gave birth to our first child, the attendants treated us like a couple of high school kids at first. It almost felt like they were looking down on us because they thought we were so young. It was interesting how the language quickly changed to ma’am and sir after they processed our admission. I can’t blame them though – my wife does look like a 14 year old in the pictures of her with our baby.

They supress the creation of estrogen and testosterone, so as to inhibit puberty. Generally done on people going through puberty at like 8, but nowadays they are also using it on “boys” that were born girls, and vice versa, to avoid the “boy” from generating tatters, and the “girls” from getting facial hair etc etc. Once you stop using, then puberty supposedly continues normally. The first drug name I could found was Leuprorelin (Lupron), which is also used for other issues (ex. prostate cancer).

my cousin also wears the big hats in the summer…

Are you her?!

.

Most asian chicks also have the body of a 13 year old boy.

ha ha ha

hahaha, i can’t believe i met my lost cousin on this forum! ^ o ^

Another recommendation for looking young is to get chemical peels every couple of years.

The peels nowadays can be mild and have very short recovery time (some need none, just a gradual skin renewal process). There are misconceptions about the skin getting thinner and more sensitive over time, but i think as long as you don’t over do it (like twice a year), it should be okay - of course, when in doubt alwasy consult a dermatologist.

It does wonders…

  • reduces fine lines

  • lighten spots and scars

  • smoothing out skin texture

  • give you a nice glow and brighten, whiten skin

I also find after having a peel, my skin uses less products to stay healthy and hydrated (mostly because all the serums and creams i use are easily penetrated into the skin and be absorbed).

Like spunboy I am also an asian. When I was young I never used sun protection while swimming in the ocean. Played tennis outdoors. Nowadays I do use sunscreen when I ski. Also like spunboy I look younger. They even asked for my id in clubs.

I think this accurately describes why putting sunblock on is so important:

So true!

i think time will tell…

This is not to say i don’t work on my inner beauty. Even if i have done every possible beauty treatment on my face but have a very ugly personality and attitude, i wouldn’t feel or look attractive.

I look about 12 years younger than I am (I am NOT Asian)…

I eat well. I pretty much make everything I eat. I have an enormous garden and then try and eat mostly organic if possible.

I believe that if you are not sweating profusely you are not working out. I run hills, sprint, and do distance.

I use a single blade safety razor, badger brush, and use creams from the UK that are glycerin based. Witch hazel is an awesome astringent. I stay away from sulfites and parabens. I only use soaps that are glycerin based.

Genetics. Yeah that matters. Luckily I have good ones.

About 5 grams of EFAs a day. My triglycerides at last blood test were under 70. Ideal is under 150.

Probably some other stuff I can not remember.

^ Blake, I need a ruling. Do real men exfoliate?

Sure although I do not.

@BMC

“Probably some other stuff I can not remember.”

Indeed! With all the things you mentioned, still if you take out the ‘Laugh ‘ that you do in a carefree (not care-less’) state and the ‘Love’ that you give and get you will ‘look 12 years older’ than what you are despite all of above + things.

I strongly feel, to look younger and elegant living the life is not as important or crucial as is a tension-free, least-stressful and cheerful lifestyle else the life style diseases won’t let you be happy or look younger whatever you may have or do. All the external or artificial means can not keep one young unless one is young in mind and is as near to nature as one can be in today’s byzantine world. Your tagline probably says it all.

this thread is weird.

So weird.

I agree 100% staying young and heart is #1 for looking youthful!!!

I always stay curious, adventurous, optimistic, playful, honest, energetic, and dream like a child!

I always stay trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. But mostly brave and reverent.
