Same here - nothing yet. I think I just barely have the work experience and some of mine is in back-office data-processing so maybe they’re looking into it with a level of scrutiny?

these kids are mad hypocrites…they put us under crazy time constraints for the AM portion of the exam but they get the leisure of taking their sweet time with our charters AFTER we passed THEIR exam under THEIR time constraints. Yeah…ok buddy…

I’d submitted my application here in India on Monday 3rd September, and it was approved on Saturday evening 8th September. I’m assuming the final ok was given by the local society, after any initial steps required by the Institute in Charlottesville, or elsewhere, were completed. Since most folks are likely tend to their local CFA society responsibilities (like charter approvals!) on a weekend, I’d suggest reaching out to your local society to get an idea of the decision timelines, should you have faced a delay.

Is there a separate email that tells you that CFAI has approved your work experience and then it goes to the society? Or do you just get one notification that says both CFAI and the society approved it?

i didn’t get a notification, it shows ‘society review’ on my membership application

I see. Yeah mine is still under the CFAI review (sigh). They said on their website that it can take a max of 10 business days. Let’s see im already on the…3rd full business day LOL

CFA Institute approved it pretty fast but the society is taking their sweet time. I’m just impatient I guess.
